Psychological thriller conventions

From looking at different psychological thriller trailers, i have noticed that some commonly used conventions are:

  • Fast paced editing
  • Fast paced music
  • Builds to a climax at the end of the trailer
  • Non chronological
  • Tension building
  • Close ups
  • Range of locations
