Here is my current magazine cover for my psychological thriller called sharpie. It is not currently finished, as i still need to add a pug for another film, 'Final Bell', and do a few other things.
I made it by creating the masthead first, the adding all the different layers on. I then rotated the text so that it was following the edges of the corridor. I then used a tool to create the translucent effect around the edges of the sharpie character.
Here is a photo of the next edit of the magazine cover: The changes that have been made are that they text has been moved, and a bar at the bottom telling of a competition has been added in.

Film Poster
Here is my current film poster for my psychological thriller, sharpie.
I made it by putting all the layers in the correct order, most of which had been made in Photoshop, or were just images, although the billing block text was made in publisher, then saved as an image. I then copied the layer that had the sharpie character, and used the clone stamp tool to create the repeating mask outlines around the head of the character.

Filming the trailer
For the filming of our trailer, we intended to use a camera provided by Josh, even though he had left our group, as he had said prior to leaving that he would, but we ended up using a camera provided by the school. We filmed in the school, out on the streets near the school, and in a pub called 'Ye Olde Sun' which is a few minutes walk from school. In one of our lessons, we went out onto on of the schools fields with Jaks' drone, to film the shot of the school from above, which is shown over the news report voice over. when we filmed it however, the drone didn't have much charge, so we only had one attempt to get the footage we needed at that opportunity. this paired with the fact that we couldn't actually see what the drone was recording as it was recording it meant that we didn't know if we had usable footage until Jak checked the footage at home, as the schools computers don't have micro SD card readers, and we didn't have any adapters so that we could see the footage then and there. Unfortunately it then turned out that Jak couldn't check the footage either because he didn't have the necessary equipment to do so. To get around this, we just took one of the schools cameras and took it to the top of our schools sixth form block, and was able to get a good shot of the school from above that way. We filmed after school on a Wednesday, and the filming took about 2 1/2 - 3 hours to complete.
First draft for trailer
This is the first draft for our psychological thriller trailer:
We were aware before uploading this that we still need to work on the background music, add credits and other inter-titles, and that the start is too slow, and needs changing. The feedback we received from this told us that, as gave us some advice such as to not use the news report right at the start of the trailer, and to make the entire trailer non chronological, as opposed to what we currently had, where only the montage was non chronological. We were also told to include sound effects which we had forgotten about. We were also told to remove the scream from the end and replace it with another shot that we had filmed and not thought we could use.

News report for our trailer
Here is the voice recording that we are going to play at the start of our film trailer to help create tension from the start of the trailer. We recorded it using a voice recorder provided by the school.
