To make this magazine cover, first i got a picture of the main character of our film, and placed it where i wanted it to go on the cover. i then duplicated the layer and cut out his head so that it could go in front of the masthead of the magazine. I then added the masthead of the magazine, and the ribbon of color behind it. Next i added the three pugs at the top of the screen, and the text underneath and to the side of them. I then added all the text either side of the main picture, as well as the title of the film' The Lonely Life of a Teenager', as well as adding the effects to all the text. Lastly I added the white box on the bottom, and the text in in advertising the VIP trip.

Magazine cover recreation
For this peice, we were asked to recreate a magazine cover of Total Films' Sherlock Holmes magazine. Here is the magazine cover that we needed to recreate:
And Here my recreation of it:
I started off by finding a picture of Robert Downey Jr. with the background behind him, then duplicated the image and erased the background so the i just had him on that layer, so that he could be put in front of the word 'Film', I then added the title of the magazine, testing different fonts to see which one looked most like the font used on the actual magazine. I then added the pugs at the top,by finding images of the characters faces online, and then added text next to them, then i added all the text on either side of the magazine underneath the title. Next i added the text in front of his body, then finally the before the bar code in the bottom right, which i found as an image online, and the logo next to is, which i drew with the circle and the eraser tool.
